The Richland County Career Center and Our Lady of the Lake OLL Women’s club will present a workshop to help prepare job seeking candidates for job application and interview process, and remember to attend the upcoming Trades Skills Career Fair on August 22nd, 2017.
Topics will include:
* How to Create a Powerful Resume
* Interviewing Tips
* Dress to Impress – Free Interview Outfit
Professional, gently used and new clothing was donated throughout Richland County for people who will be interviewing for jobs. (One free outfit per candidate)
Certified Career Coaches Sylvie Golod and Randy Heath of the Richland Library will be presenting the resume and interview workshop. Nancy Williamson, Certified Business Advisor, will be on hand to assist, and the OLL Women’s Club will help distribute and match up interview clothing to job seekers. Nancy will also be helping out at the Town of Chapin Free Workshop for Chapin Area Businesses. This is for Small Business Owners that may be affected by the local VC Summer plant construction closure of units 2 & 3. Please share with other Small Business Owners you may know.
