President & CEO
Rebecca Blackburn Hines joined the Greater Chapin Chamber of Commerce as President & CEO in October 2018. She received a B.A. in Mass Media Communications from the College of Charleston and Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law. As a former business owner of a small, local brick and mortar, Rebecca understands and appreciates the importance of a supportive Chamber, and strives to provide added value to each member of the Chapin Chamber. She is an active participant in the Chapin community, a regular volunteer of Good Works, and a member of Lake Murray Presbyterian Church. Rebecca resides in Chapin, with her husband Derrick and her two young daughters, Harper and Molly.
April Robinson joined the Chamber in June 2016 as the Executive Administrative Assistant. April is a proud member of the Chapin Junior Woman’s Club, having served as treasurer for two years. She is also the secretary on the board of Reconciliation Ministries in Columbia, a residential recovery and discipleship program for those suffering from addictions. At the chamber April maintains the membership database, the Chapin Chamber Website, advertising on the LED Board, and is editor of the weekly Chamber E-Newsletter. She also supports the Visitors and Information Center. In this role she greets and assists the public and provides information about the greater Chapin community. April resides in Chapin with her husband Kim. They are the parents of two adult children Alexandra & Samantha as well as two fur babies Rayna and Ragnar.
